Every date here is a whole calendar day, so the start date itself is never counted: a range from the 1st to the 5th is 4 days, and the 5th is the last day inspected when weekdays are tallied. Month and year jumps that land on a day the target month does not have, such as 31 January plus one month, settle on that month's final day and say so. Dates are built from the parts you enter rather than parsed as a universal timestamp, so a daylight saving change cannot add or drop a day, and nothing is sent anywhere.

What Is Date Calculator?

Date Calculator measures the gap between two days in total days, years and months, weeks, and working weekdays, then moves any date forward or backward by days, weeks, months, or years. Use it to count the distance to a deadline, check how old a document is, plan a delivery window, or find the business date forty-five working days from now. Weekends and an optional holiday list are excluded from the weekday count, short months are handled openly, and every figure is computed in your browser.

Who Uses the Date Calculator?

Project managers, lawyers, and students use it to count the days elapsed or remaining and to land a date a fixed number of working days away.

How to Use the Date Calculator

  1. Choose Days between dates or Add or subtract days with the buttons at the top.
  2. Enter the two dates, or a base date with a signed amount and a unit of days, weeks, months, or years.
  3. Tick the holiday option to paste a YYYY-MM-DD list, then copy the summary box for your notes.
